IMO, Gackt and Malize Mizer need separate threads, because even though they were once linked that connection has been severed by each memberÆs solo work.
And as for both the band and the artist:
[Malice Mize part edited out and out in it's own thread]
Gackt: After leaving Malice Mizer, and taking a lot of his fans with him, he started off his solo career almost where he left off being very goth-like in both sound and dress, but that soon changed as he evolved into an artist of his own. Besides a huge improvement in his voice he developed more of a feel for pop/rock and ballad-type songs that fit well with his vocal range. He also showed the world a side to himself that was rarely mentioned while he was in Malize Mizer with quirky appearances on TV shows and in magazines. Gackt has captured the minds of millions as we all wonder what the hell he's gonna do next.
Note: I hope everyone likes my little stories. I can't sleep for some reason... v.v

Malice Mazer is awsome. Gackt is awsome as well, he is a fine looking gentlemen even tho he sometimes goes extreme and looks like a woman

gackt is damn sexy and i love his work as a solo singer 
i'm not exactly fond of his malice mizer days though...that was, for me, a tad bit extreme...
nevertheless, gackt produces excellent rock songs!

hehe yeah I have no clue why i'm attracted to him. He's so old...-_-; He wouldn't even tell his age on his fake date w/MM. I have a habit of falling for older guys I can't ever get for one reason or another.

In a Pop Jam sketch, he told Ai Kago that he was 416 years old. They were supposed to pretend that they were on a date, and he said that they had an age gap, because she was only 13 years old at the time.
