Info Koda Kumi new single - TABOO - 2008.10.8.!! (UPDATED)
Fourth months since her hit single MOON, Koda Kumi returns with her 41st single, TABOO, to be released on 2008.10.8. in CD+DVD and CD-only formats. The song is described as a powerful dance number, a style from Koda we haven't seen since LAST ANGEL. The single will feature remixes, coupling, and instrumentals for a total of 5 tracks. A special version of the single, including the title track and its instrumental, will be released on the same day, available only to fanclub members. The fanclub-only version will feature its own cover, as well as bonus goods.

That's what I was thinking! Maybe she should have released this first (as if I heard it xD; ) MOON seemed more like a fall single to me anyway. But considering her little "taboo" before coming back into the music scene, maybe she made the right choice to wait xD;...

I so hope that this will get me really back into her... MOON was an ok single, but I only liked Once Again. Love the title though!

Lol the preview of TABOO sounds like Miliyah Kato's SAYONARA Baby. Of course Ku will probably sell tons more even though hers is released later.

^ I love that Song, I hope it's as good though, the preview...I like it but it just seems like a lot of Japanese music is going towards that trend so it's not as fresh as Avex might think it is even if Ku hasn't done much in that strain.

The shoots not bad, but it just takes me back to the "old" Kumi. It doesn't seem new to me, sorry. And the type is bland. I'm looking forward to the single though!

These covers make me want to buy the single, seriously xD; I just can't decide on which one <_<;;;; I like both of the covers so much! Isn't it a bit early for them though? The single is a month away.... well I guess not then, I'm stuck in August xD;

I do LOVE the covers... I hope the video is good enough to make me like the song more... In the CD only cover she reminds me of Bai Ling with that hair and outfit. Lol.

I LOVE TABOO! It's like a mix between some of Kumi's Black Cherry work mixed with Amuro's new style and a bit of justin timberlake. It's catchy, it's fun and it's something Kumi really hasn't done before, Kumi is back! ^o^
