J-Drama Discussion Thread
Woot for the Japanese Culture Forum!! Thought I'd get a little input here. So how about it, anyone here a fan of J-Drama? If so, who's your favorite actor/ess and your favorite dramas?
I've always been a HUGE fan of J-Drama... because, imho, I think they're better than Chinese and Korean Dramas. Not saying the C/K-Dramas are bad, just saying that J-Dramas are better x)
My favorite actors/actresses include Matsushima Nanako, the everlasting KimuTaku, Takeuchi Yuko, Nakama Yukie, Abe Hiroshi, Tsumabuki Satoshi, and Narimiya Hiroki. And my favorite J-Drama is ORANGE DAYS (starring Tsumabuki Satoshi and Shibasaki Kou), I just simply love it, must've seen the whole thing over and over for ten-something times already.
Anyway, feel free to leave a thought or two!! xD

I have watched a few j-doramas. But right now there is no new dorama that I'm watching, none of them interests me really. Or wait, I am watching 2nd housem, it's quite fun
my favourites are "Densha Otoko", "Nobuta wo produce" and "Hana yori Dango" I guess.
favourite actors/actresses: Erika Sawajiri is my favourite I think, together with Yamapi

I love J-dramas. My first one (and in my opinion the best drama ever) was GTO, and I've been hooked on dramas ever since.
Unfortunately, I haven't seen very many (GTO, Gokusen, Gokusen 2, Nobuta. wo Produce, and Densha Otoko). I was going to start Beach Boys but the quality of the rip was awful.

Yeah. There's two different series, but for the fanbase's sake one is "Gokusen" and the other is "Gokusen 2," even though both are officially referred to as "Gokusen" by the TV network and DVDs.

Aoi Tori and Hana Yori Dango are great, so are Gokusen (1 and 2), Trick (1,2,3), Tokyo Wankei and a few others I can't remember off the top of my head...

I think Hana Yori Dango is just so cute. Nobuta is cute as well--Yamapi as Akira is just pure comic relief. I recently finished Kimi wa Petto, which I liked and decided to watch because of all the silly fuss around it--I'm not a huge fan of Jun Matsumoto, but after seeing that drama, I have much respect for him as an actor. He's very talented! (But if someone asks me who I'd prefer from Hana Yori Dango... I'd much prefer Oguri Shun as Rui. -melts-)

I`m into dramas. I haven`t gotten into many shows this season, but last season I was into HYD, Kiken na Aneki, Brother Beat, and Nobuta wo Produce. My fave drama is definitely GTO though.
