[edit] Community Collaborations
The purpose of this section is collaborative editing between Tokyo-Nights members to further develop Tiki. Editing on your own is of course perfectly fine but sometimes it can be a lot of work which is where teaming up with other members can be very beneficial and rewarding, not to mention that you may make a new friend or two along the way. You may form collaborations for anything you wish to help further Tiki's development. It could be to help improve the quality of existing articles which are short or lacking in detail, creatation of new articles or even groups of articles. Collaborations can be formed to develop any article(s) relating to Japanese music. For example:
[edit] Add A New Collaboration Project[edit] Create A Project PageTo start a new collaboration project the first thing you need to to is create your project page. This should be done by the project leader. Each project page is a sub page of this Community Portal page. Project leaders may create pages using the following input box. Be sure not to remove the prefix. Type your page name after the forward slash; e.g. Tiki:Community Portal/Audio Samples
[edit] List Your New ProjectOnce you've created your page add your collaboration project to the current list of projects below. The collaboration leader can edit this page and place the new project at the top of the list below. Instructions on how to do this can be found when editing this page.
[edit] Completed ProjectsWhen a project is completed the collaboration project leader must remove the project from the list below. Be careful that you only remove your project listing. Your collaboration project page remains where it has always been and can still be accessed at anytime from the full category listing linked to above.
[edit] Be Nice & Have FunWe always encourage a friendly atmosphere here at Tokyo-Nights and as part of that we would ask you to welcome new members to join your collaboration projects. Please be kind an curteous -- if a member offers their help to you and your team, accept it. While there is an option to close your recruitment this is only recommended if there are excessive numbers of members already working on your project.
